How to Book a Session

1. Look below to check for the subject that you need help with.
2. Click the "Find the Available Tutors" under the subject.
3. Select the tutor of your choice and check his or her schedule availability.
4. Fill out the booking form in the tutor's page.
5. Your tutor will respond within 72 hours to your request. 

Subjects

Reading Tutoring

Includes reading comprehension support from grade K to 8.
Tutors provide literacy support, help in the development of reading skills, and encourage students to development of enjoyment in reading to students from Grade K to 8. Students signing up for a reading session must attend 2 sessions​, before deciding on whether to continue or not.

Math Tutoring

Includes topics ranging from grade K to Geometry
​Our tutors assist students to help them improve their math skills. We make sure to identify areas needing improvement, help with school homework and prepare students for any upcoming tests. Students signing up for a math session must be able to use Zoom.​

Grammar Tutoring

Includes sentences vs. fragments, subjects and verbs, predicates, etc. Grammar for students in grades 5-8.
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of writing such as parts of speech and how to recognize and use them in a sentence. This service is only meant for students in grades 5-8.

​ Biology Tutoring

Includes photosynthesis, genetics, etc. 
Biology tutoring sessions cover a wide range of biology topics, including cell biology, genetics, ecology, and beyond. Students and tutors may work together to prepare for exams, work on assignments, or aim to deepen understanding of biological concepts. 

​ Coding Tutoring

Includes programming languages Java and Python.
​Coding courses at Learn With Genie are meant for beginner to intermediate level coders in ​all grades K-12. Coding courses are group sessions with up to 3 students and will usually last around 12-15 weeks. Currently, we offer Java and Python.

Please note that you can request up to 2 sessions per week per subject.
